I have received a few requests to post this, and it is only available here.

I am not going to be held responsible for how well it works, any bugs or security openings it may have. Officially, Compguy11 Custom Modifications no longer supports IPB 1.3 and will not make another Member Teams version for it.

So again, use at your own risk. Use at your own risk and be aware that some of the information below may be inaccurate.

Version 1.1.0 FINAL

This is the first release of this modification for IPB v2.1(.1).

I have kept the version count running, to avoid confusion. So, this is version 1.1 of the mod, as there was version 1.0 for IPBv2.0. The description is listed below.

Description: This mod adds the ability for your members to have their own member teams. They can have other members join, open their own forum on your forum(a subforum that can be password protected) and manage other team members through an easy to use control panel.
Features:
- Members can only create teams if they have a certain number of posts set by forum admin
- Each team has a leader(the person who creates the team) and a co-leader
- The leader can choose a team logo or give other team members permission to do that
- Leaders can create ranks that they can assign to their members
- A group overview page allows groups to make a short HTML-enabled description about their team
- The leader can set permissions on which team members can do what( Different permissions are based on the different categories of settings, which are Team, Forum, and Permissions )
- Leaders can approve members wanting to join the team through an easy to use activation list... you can simply dismiss members that you don't want on your team
- Members can resign(or voluntarily dismiss themselves) from the team
- Leaders can dismiss other team members
- Administrators have control over all teams through the ACP
- Team leaders can create a password-protected subforum for their team, and assign forum moderators to that forum
- Team Member List lists all members in a team
- Team Leader can Mass PM all team members
- Admins can choose which member groups can create teams and how many they can create
- Team News allows Team Leaders to post news about their team
- PM notifications regarding team member approval
- Overall fixes and security updates

This version has an updated template, and I hope you enjoy it.

This same release of this modification is currently in beta testing for IPBv2.0, so for those who are still on IPBv2.0, just hang in there for a bit longer.

Like all my modifications, it has gone through extensive beta testing before this release, and should be as bug free as possible.

--You can also get additional support and information at my website: compguy11.com--

Once they create a team, other members can join their team. The leader has a powerful Team Management system at hand to control all aspects of his team, and the forum administrators have the last say as they can delete and modify all teams.

If you have any questions or problems, feel free to post them in the support topic.

I hope to get a demo up here ASAP for everyone to see this in action(although you can't really see it fully in action until you install it)

Installation is very simple...upload 4 files, run one installer, and do 5 small edits to 3 different files(index.php,admin.php, admin_pages.php)...

This mod did go through beta testing with 10 of my personal friends...everything should be as bug-free as possible.

Roughly one week or so after this modification has all bugs stripped from it(right now it is very bug-free), we plan to release this modification for IPB 1.3 and prepare it for release for 2.1 once IPS releases its 2.1 Final.

Version: 1.3.1, Build Number 1316
Required: IPB v2.2 or later
Adobe PDF Reader for your computer

License: Only Compguy11 Custom Modifications and Invisionize have the right to redistribute this modification. Teams can own forums and post team news, all through an easy to use control panel.

Feature List:
Teams
-Each team has a leader and a list of all of its members.
-Teams can have a description that appears on the MT home page.
-A RTE-enabled editor will also allow for Team Information, to appear on the Team Overview Page
-Teams will be allowed to upload a team logo, or use a remote URL.
-The team leader can turn off allowing the public to join the group.
-Teams can now be searched by team name, team description, and leader name, directly from the MT home page.
Team Members
-Forum members can apply to any team that is "Open". Pending the leader's approval, they will be accepted as a team member.
-Each team member can be granted specific permissions to help edit and manage the team. These permissions can only be granted by the team leader.
-A "Closed" team can still allow new members. A new invitation system will allow team leaders to invite specific forum members. That forum member is sent a PM, where they can either accept or decline the invitation.
-Team members may resign at any time. A team leader may release his control and hand it off to somebody else. A team leader may dismiss a member at any time.
Team Forums
-All team forums will fall into a category selected by administrators.
-Team leaders may edit the forum name and description.
-Team members (that have permission) may also control whether or not posts increase a member's post count, and can even assign forum moderators.
-Forums now make use of an improved secondary group system so that only members of the team and admin/staff are granted access to the team's forum.
Ranks
-Team members can create ranks that can then be assigned to team members.
-Ranks appear on the Team Member List
News
-Each team may post team news that is RTE enabled. Their most recent news article appears on the Team Overview page, and older articles are kept in an archive.
-As another means of communication, team leaders may also mass PM team members. This feature is limited by the number of people a certain member may be allowed to mass PM to at once.
Admin Control
-All aspects of a team may be controlled via the ACP, including their name and description. A team may be deleted at any time.
-The Default Forum Permissions applied to team forums may also be set. The permissions moderators of team forums are granted can also be controlled.
-Settings include: System On, Number of Teams Per Page, Require Admin Approval, Posts Needed to Create Team, Points Needed To Create Team, Per Group Permissions, Allow Multiple Team Membership, Allow Team Logo Uploads, Team Logo Max Width/Height, Allow Use of Team Forums, Forum for Member Team Forums
IPB Compatibility
-Fully compliant component that requires no file edits.
-A language file that controls all language throughout the component
-Profile Portal tab that displays all the teams that member belongs to

Support: Use the support topic provided by Invisionize or my website, compguy11.com for support.

Quality Control: This modification underwent private beta testing. If bugs are found, please report directly to my website, compguy11.net.
