FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Compguy11 Custom Modifications, a leader in custom modifications and projects for Invision Power Board and other PHP based products, has officially announced plans to implement "v2.0" of its company website, located at http://compguy11.com.

The plans start with a new AJAX based website that allows for easier navigation and is a much improvement over the older version. This version was inserted into the server at 12:13 AM EST (May 20, 2007) and is available at http://compguy11.com

The second plan is to upgrade the company forums to a more recent version of Invision Power Board. For security reasons, the exact current and new version information is being withheld. This upgrade will be performed within the next week.

The third plan is to introduce a new downloads module that will be implemented here at the company forums as a secondary source of all of our free modifications. In addition, the system may provide an easier way to distribute private or paid modifications to their owners. The release date of this module is currently unknown, but expected for sometime this month.

As CCM transitions to these new products, it asks that its members report any bugs or suggestions to webmaster [[at]] compguy11 [[dot]] com so that the site be improved.

OFFICIAL UPDATE
RELEASE IMMEDIATELY

On August 3, 2007, at 12:20 AM EST, Compguy11 Custom Modifications went offline for forum upgrades. The software upgrades were completed and the board has been upgraded to an undisclosed version that has been considered stable by our team of programmers.

Some features, like Member Teams, Toplist, and Shoutbox, have been removed, and most likely won't return just because they weren't very active and have no use on this forum.

If there are any problems or bugs, please report them right away. Compliments of one of our great staff members, a new custom skin will be added shortly to this forum. Until then, enjoy the IPB default.

This concludes "stage two" of our plan to update the company sites and software to "v2.0". The "third stage" regarding a download module is currently being considered and a decision on how to implement this feature will be rendered shortly.

The new skin has now been installed and set to default. Horizon will be eventually upgraded, but that is a low-priority currently.
